Spring and Early Summer Fishing

Wanted to let everyone know, the spring and early summer fishing has been good so far. With several multiple fish days, Shabbona lake is in real good shape. The visibility has been decent at about 30 to 36 inches, early season casting bite was really good with fish being caught in 1 to 3 feet of water.

The fish have stayed there for several weeks after the spawn, as we got to the end of May and in through June the trolling bite has been good and still going.

The fishing should stay real good through the late summer and early fall with good water clarity due to the good weed growth this season. If you haven't had a chance to get out, and might have some time coming up, give me a call or send me an email and let's fish!
