Catch more fish with Rapala's new fishing lures

In the game of firsts, no lure manufacturer sets the bar quite like Rapala®, and the new BX™ Series featuring the first-of-its-kind BX Swimmer and BX Minnow is no exception.

Staying true to its roots, the heart of the Rapala BX Series boasts a balsa core that is embodied in a durable copolymer shell for unmatched toughness and incredible finishes, creating a truly masterful series.

The BX Series is the liveliest, yet toughest balsa-constructed bait ever produced. "By wrapping these balsa baits in a copolymer shell, it allows anglers to tangle with the strongest jaws in both fresh and saltwater applications without comprise, all while producing incredible action and displaying eye-popping finishes."

The BX Swimmer features an articulated body that harnesses a durable pivot system, producing a slow-sinking bait with methodical swimming action that entices strike after strike. The BX Minnow is a sleek minnow-shaped bait with flat sides that flaunts a strong flash on the roll as it slices and twitches through the water.

Both baits feature internal X-Foil, along with molded 3D heads, gills and scales that meld together to form lifelike finishes unlike anything seen on balsa lures.

Cast or trolled between 4-to-6 feet, the BX Swimmer locks hold of its predator with two size 03 Black Nickel VMC® Treble Hooks, and at 4-¾ inches long and weighing ¾ ounce, this cage fighter is ready for battle.
Measuring 4 inches long, the BX Minnow weighs 3/8 ounce, and with two size 04 Black Nickel VMC Treble Hooks, it is ready to tango with the largest of species.

"Designed with the clear intention that it would embody the traditional attributes Rapala balsa baits are known for, with the heavy-duty toughness that fighting large-tooth fish demand, the BX Series of baits is making a hard splash with fresh and saltwater anglers alike," said Iaconelli.

For both the BX Swimmer and BX Minnow, anglers can choose from 10 color patterns including Blue Back Herring, Blue Pearl, Firetiger, Gold Shiner, Perch, Purpledescent, Rainbow Trout, Silver, Smelt and Yellow Perch.

Get ready for a gnarly good time.

Tight lines!
